Welcome to my Typewriter Workshop!
This will be categorized from oldest to newest top to bottom. A large number of these are what I consider axed or otherwise incomplete. Majority remain as they are so spelling and grammar errors are plentiful abound.
One of my earliest possible works I have on file. Rather short, incomplete. First person.
A short story and additional lore for a country rp I participated on Facepunch around 2010 to 2012. The 'Tapestries' does not include all the lore I did for it. Malta was told in first person.
The earliest attempt at a prototype for the 'Cosmic Saga'. Mobile Troopers was a concept I toyed with for most of the 2010s. Eve of War was probably written around 2018 or 2019. They were written in third person limited.
The immediate precursor to Saga of the Cosmic Heroes. Ch1 to 7 mostly summarize the events transpiring the first two volumes of SotCH. These were written between 2019 to April 2020. It was written as though a documentary covering events alrady transpired; the idea behind this was the overall narrative of Legend of the Galactic Heroes OVA. Though there was no central anchor character it's mostly omnipotent third person.
A sci-fi space opera over 400k words long, 108 chapters before I axed it. This was written from April 2020 to June 2024. There were three main characters written in first person present tense, with a side cast of minor characters written in limited third person. This is currently being rewritten as A Game of Cosmic Titans with a singular protagonist, past tense and limited third person.
Urban fantasy psychological. Written in 2021 as a one-shot. Based on a nightmare I had where I had to write the names of people I saw in dreams within a certain timeframe or else I died. Now with proper formatting and italics.
Low fantasy, based on a Mount and Blade Bannerlord campaign I did. Written briefly sometime in 2021. I got discouraged after a fellow writer gave it a read, so I gave up on continuing it.
A side story prequel of sorts to Saga of the Cosmic Heroes, set some 40-60 years before the events of 'Shattered Innocence'. It focused on the pirate kingpin Araki alluded to in volume 2 of Toscana Requiem and would've focused on his rise to power and eventual death by Simon and Zhui Dong. Written in September 2023 in first person present tense. I eventually lost heart for it and quietly dropped it a year later. Now with proper formatting.
Written in October to November 2024 very briefly. Third person limited. It was meant as a new introduction to the Cosmic Saga and get me back into writing again. These were written out of order (scene 3 written first) and so are disjointed flow-wise. Certain segments were fed to AI out of curiosity and I was so taken aback and demoralized how decent it could capture my voice I deciedly axed it, so this largely remains the only work that saw ai assistance. Now with proper formatting.
TBD. Flashpoint Zeta is the spirtual ending I had in mind for Saga of the Cosmic Heroes volume 3 Embers of Ishtar and its canceled The Final Waltz. It is intended as a standalone short story concept novel to A Game of Cosmic Titans.
TBD. The new vision for the Cosmic Saga with a focus on a singular protagonist, past tense and limited third person.
